Tips on Practicing

By Ken Ryan on August 19, 2017 0

There are three techniques that help you practice, and at some point, master a skill. The first of the three is creative inspiration. The second is rigorous analysis. The third is subconscious practice. To demonstrate these techniques, the speaker goes over his experience of card dealing and how he used each of these to master his skills and discusses how to handle the difficulties of training and when you get into a rut while doing it and how to come out of it and keep training.

Key Takeaways:

  • Richard Tuner is a magician with many great stories to tell. He will help people practice their favorite magic tricks on stage.
  • Our Magic is a new film that will document the practice. View the film and enjoy the sleight of hand tricks on display.
  • It takes some practice to perfect the few tricks that people see. Each magician will work on the art form that they want to perfect.

“While not a professional magician, his enthusiasm for intimate performance and his attention to detail, coupled with his knuckle-busting chops, have provided him valuable insight into why good, powerful magic is essential to elevating the public’s perception of our community.”
